Medicube’s PDRN line is rooted in one core promise: skin regeneration powered by collagen stimulation. To bring that benefit into the physical world, we translated product function into flavor, texture, and ritual by creating The Pink Protocol Café, a limited-time pop-up designed as an immersive, collagen-forward experience.
This project is a conceptual case study developed to explore experiential brand opportunities for Medicube.
+ Concept Ideation + World Building + Culinary Activation
Inspired by the regenerative properties of PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide), each drink on the menu corresponded to a product in the line, transforming serum, ampoule, and cream into layered beverages infused with a symbolic splash of collagen. The activation positioned collagen not just as an ingredient, but as the hero narrative threading together skin science and sensory pleasure.
The space was wrapped in a tonal pink environment that was soft, clinical, and hyper-feminine, reinforcing the “protocol” idea: a structured system for glowing skin.
Sample sachets and mini bottles carried the same tonal pink language as the environment, creating a seamless transition from café counter to at-home ritual.
The cups were treated as branded extensions of the product line with soft pink sleeves.
Every touchpoint reinforced the PDRN narrative.
By translating PDRN’s collagen story into a sensory environment, the Pink Protocol Café deepened Medicube’s world beyond skincare. It shifted the brand from being product-centric to experience-driven. Guests didn’t just learn about collagen production , they participated in it, ritualized it, and shared it.
Culinary activations like this extend brand storytelling into culture. They transform clinical claims into lifestyle moments. And in doing so, they build emotional equity.
