Food Story: 02
A casual sunday brunch at my brooklyn apartment with friends, centered around good music, Mediterranean dishes and rest.
Easter usually means being home with my family, where my mom cooks a big breakfast with omelets and crepes. This year I stayed in New York, so I knew I’d miss both the routine and the food. I realized a few friends were also in the city without family plans, so I invited them over. I put together a small brunch and we kept it simple. It wasn’t home, but it hit the spot.
The Spread: tilapia, zucchini pie, prosciutto wrapped asian pear, deviled eggs, octopus salad, beet salad, crostini, lemon poppyseed crepes, and orange cardamom olive oil cake.
